Terms & Conditions

1. The SG Bike’s “Ride Safe with SG Bike” will run from 24th May 2021, 1200 hours to 27th May 2021, 2359 hours, GMT +8
2. The giveaway is organised by SG Bike Pte Ltd (the “Organiser”), which shall be responsible for the execution and administration of this Giveaway.
3. Entry into this Giveaway is deemed acceptance of these Terms & Conditions and any amendments, additions, replacements, variations and modifications hereto, which shall be final and binding in all respects on each participant. 
4. SG Bike reserves the right to disqualify any participant if it has reasonable grounds to believe that such participant is in breach of any of Terms & Conditions.
5. SG Bike reserves the right to change the Terms & Conditions herein without prior notice, and participants shall be bound to such changes.
6. These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore and the Singapore Courts shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
7. All of the information provided by the participant to SG Bike Pte Ltd (including without limitation personal particulars and contact information) is accurate and complete.
8. By submitting, the participant permits SG Bike to publish the entrant’s submissions and/or his personal data in various media for publicity purposes.
9. By submitting, SG Bike may also contact the participant at the provided email address/mobile number for future promotions and/or marketing purposes. The entrant may opt out by emailing [email protected] to indicate opt out preference.
10. Participants shall bear their own costs and expenses incurred in relation to and/or arising from their participation in the Giveaway. SG Bike is not liable for any such costs whatsoever, and no reimbursement may be sought from SG Bike.
11. SG Bike shall not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss), damage, personal injury or death in connection with the giveaway, except any liability that cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).

Eligibility:

12. Only participants who made a minimum of $10 SG Bike credit top-up into the SG Bike account (provided by the participant in the entry form) within the giveaway period, and followed OR liked the Instagram and Facebook pages of SG Bike prior or within the giveaway period will be qualified for the Giveaway.

13. The giveaway is open to only Singapore citizens, permanent residents, international students, and holders of valid work permits residing in Singapore. All participants should be aged 18 years and above.

14. By participating in this Giveaway, each participant hereby represents and warrants that:

He/she is at least 18 years old and has the necessary legal capacity, right, power and authority to agree to these Terms & Conditions and he/she is either:

• Participating in this Giveaway in his/her own personal capacity; or
• Contracting as a parent or guardian of a child or ward who is less than 18 years old and who is participating in this Giveaway, in which event he/she agrees as to his/her parent/guardian, both in his/her personal capacity and on behalf of his/her child/ward, to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and to be liable for his/her child’s/ward’s acts and omissions while participating in the Contest, and he/she also agrees to ensure that his/her child or ward observes these Terms & Conditions.

15. SG Bike employees, corporate partner employees, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate. SG Bike reserves the right but does not have the obligation to verify the eligibility of participants. The demise of a participant disqualifies his/her entry.

Giveaway mechanics and promotional code redemption:

16. Participants have to submit their online forms before 27th May 2021, 2359

17. Participants have to make a minimum $10 SG Bike credits top-up within 24th May 2021, 1200 to 27th May 2021, 2359

18. Participants have to follow/like Instagram or Facebook of SG Bike prior or within 24th May 2021, 1200 to 27th May 2021, 2359

19. Each valid entry is only eligible to receive one promotional code

20. Any cheating, manipulating, or attempting to cheat and/or manipulate the system in any ways to obtain a chance in the contest will result in an automatic full disqualification of the participant from the giveaway.

21. SG Bike will reach out directly to the participants through their registered phone number and/or email addresses.

22. SG Bike’s decision in all matters relating to the Giveaway is final and no further correspondence will be entertained.

23. Promotional code will be sent out to participants from 28th May 2021, 0000 onwards

24. This promotional code redemption is valid for new and existing users.

25. Users can enjoy unlimited free 30-minute trips on standard bicycles for 10 days upon redemption.

26. Additional charges will be applicable after the first 30 minutes at the normal rates of $0.03 per minute.

27. Promotional code must be redeemed in the app before 30th May 2021, 2359 

28. To use SG Bike and its services, a user must have a positive account balance and a valid credit/debit card before being able to unlock a bicycle.

29. Upon redemption, auto renew for 30 days ride pass is turned on by default and $11.90/30 days (or prevailing rates) will be charged on date(s) of expiry.

30. Auto-renew can be turned off manually in the app should you not wish to renew before your pass expiry.
