How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is a two-step login process that requires, in addition to your username and password, a unique code that is sent through email or provided by any authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator, Authy, and Duo Security. This additional second step helps ensure that it is really you who is logging in to your account.

Woorise currently provides two options for two-factor authentication:

  • Email: Receive a one-time code directly in your email inbox for secure two-factor authentication, ensuring easy and convenient account protection.
  • Authenticator app: Use an authenticator app like Google Authenticator to generate time-based one-time codes for a highly secure and offline two-factor authentication method.

You can enable any or all authentication methods by navigating to your Account > Profile.

Email authentication

When the Email authentication method is enabled an email with an authentication code will be send to your email. You have to copy and enter the code to login to your Woorise account.
