A Spin the Wheel giveaway is one of the most engaging and high-converting promotional tools you can add to your marketing strategy. The excitement of spinning for a chance to win instantly boosts participation, captures attention, and encourages visitors to take action. Whether you want to grow your email list, reward customers, run instant-win campaigns, or simply create a fun interactive moment on your site, wheel-based giveaways consistently deliver stronger engagement than traditional entry forms.
With Woorise, creating a Spin the Wheel giveaway is fast and flexible. Start from ready-made templates, customize your prize options, and embed the wheel directly on any page or display it as a popup or slider. You can also conditionally show different confirmation messages based on the prize, use merge tags to personalize results, and even send targeted email notifications depending on which reward a participant wins.
Create the spin wheel giveaway
The easiest way to get started is by using a Spin the Wheel giveaway template. If you’ve started from scratch or you’re editing a different template, you’ll need to add the Wheel Picker block manually. A Form block is also required so visitors can submit the form and trigger the wheel spin.

- In the Create page, drag and drop (or click to insert) the Wheel Picker block from the block inserter.
- When the Wheel Picker block is selected, use the right sidebar settings to customize the wheel colors and manage the prize list.
- To add a new prize, click Add prize and enter a short, clear name. You can always include more details later in the confirmation message. In the same way, you can add labels for non-winners, such as “Better luck next time” or “Not this time.” To remove a prize from the wheel, simply click the X button next to that prize.
Set confirmation messages and email notifications
Inside the confirmation settings, you can create a single message or multiple conditional messages that appear after a user submits the form. To display the wheel result, simply insert the {wheel_prize} merge tag into any confirmation message.
You can keep things simple by using the Default Confirmation to show the prize (or non-prize) for every participant. However, for a more tailored experience, you can create different confirmation messages for winners and non-winners, or even a unique message for each specific prize, all using conditional logic.
In the wheel picker example below, the giveaway uses two confirmation messages: one default message for non-winners and one message that displays only when the user wins a prize.

Email notifications work the same way. You can personalize each email using merge tags and send different emails based on the prize a participant receives, giving you full control over follow-up messages, rewards, or next steps.
Manage entries and winners
Woorise makes it simple to manage both winners and non-winners directly from the Entries page. When the Wheel Picker block is used, a Wheel Prize column automatically becomes available. If you don’t see it, click the gear icon in the top-right corner to enable the column.

Using the search and filter tools at the top, you can quickly filter submissions by Wheel Prize, making it easy to review results or send targeted email notifications using the Bulk Actions menu.

You can also export all entries or only specific groups of participants. Just use Conditional Logic in the export settings and filter by the Wheel Prize to export exactly the data you need — whether it’s all winners, non-winners, or participants who landed on a specific prize.
