How to Create a Form

Creating a form in Woorise is quick and easy, allowing you to collect leads, process payments, run surveys, quizzes and more. With Woorise’s intuitive drag-and-drop form builder, you can design custom forms without any coding, add conditional logic, integrate with popular apps, and optimize for conversions.

Whether you’re building a simple contact form or a multi-step registration process, this guide will walk you through the steps to create a form in Woorise and customize it to fit your needs.

Create a form

In Woorise, every form is part of a landing page. If you only need a standalone form, you can minimize or completely remove the landing page styling. This allows you to keep the focus solely on the form, making it ideal for embedding into an existing landing page, blog post, or website without additional design elements.

  1. In your Woorise dashboard navigate to Pages from the main menu.
  2. Click the Create Page button. In the Templates gallery, you can either select Start From Scratch to build a form from the ground up or choose a pre-designed template that best fits your needs.
  1. Click on a template to open the Preview screen, where you can review its design and layout before making a selection. Once you’ve found the perfect template, click Use This Template in the top-right corner to begin customizing your form.
  2. You will be redirected to the Create tab, where you can customize both your landing page and form. This tab includes various standard options, such as setting the page title and link. In this guide, we will primarily focus on styling the Form block. For more details on customizing landing page options, please refer to this guide.
  3. To customize the form, click on the Form block to display its settings in the right sidebar. From there, you can adjust various design elements, including input size, border radius, and colors. You can also customize the label font size and color, the font size and color for field descriptions, and the colors for the main form buttons.
  1. Once you’re satisfied with the customization, click on the Form tab at the top or the pencil icon to access the form builder, where you can add, edit, and configure form fields.

Add and customize fields

In the Form Editor, you can easily drag and drop fields from the right sidebar to build your form. There are currently four field categories available, allowing you to add a variety of fields to suit your needs:

  • Standard Fields: Includes commonly used fields such as Single Line Text, Number, and Multiple Choice fields.
  • Advanced Fields: Offers more complex options like Email, Quiz, Survey, Poll, Signature, File Upload and Codes fields.
  • Pricing Fields: Allows you to add products and convert your form into a checkout form to accept payments and subscriptions.
  • Action Fields: Lets you request specific user actions, such as following a social account, visiting a website, or sharing on specific social media platforms. You can also create a custom action using the Custom Action field.

Clicking on a field allows you to access its settings in the right sidebar. While each field has its own unique settings, some common settings apply to all fields:

  • General: Customize the field label, add a description, and mark the field as required. Certain fields, like Email, include options such as “No Duplicates” to ensure unique entries.
  • Appearance: Adjust the placeholder text, hide labels for a cleaner look, and customize validation messages to guide users through the form.
  • Advanced: Set a different label for admins, define a default value, control field visibility, or dynamically populate the field using URL parameters.
  • Conditional Logic: Show or hide fields based on user input to create a dynamic experience. For example, you can hide the Name field until the user types “@” in the Email field. Check this guide to learn more about conditional logic on Woorise forms.

Form settings

The Form Settings provide a wide range of customization options to enhance your form’s functionality. While many settings are pre-configured based on the selected template, you can further adjust them to fit your needs.

Customize options such as confirmations (thank you pages), email notifications, personal data management, submission limits, CAPTCHA, partial entries, and integrations to optimize your form. Additionally, from the Actions menu in the top-right corner, you can access options to import and export your forms for easier management and reuse.

Create a multi page form

To enhance user experience and improve conversion rates, you can create a multi-page form (also known as a multi-step form) in Woorise. Instead of overwhelming users with too many questions at once, breaking your form into smaller, digestible sections makes the process more engaging and manageable.

Multi-page forms are ideal for collecting more information without discouraging users from completing the form. They are also great for quizzes, allowing you to present one question at a time for better focus and interactivity. Additionally, you can add smooth animations between steps and enable auto-progression, so users seamlessly move to the next page after completing the last field.
