Ready to run your first giveaway or contest? In this quick start guide we’ll give you insight into how to setup your first giveaway or contest from scratch, get an overview of all the features, plus give you some tips & tricks to get the most interaction from your campaigns.
Woorise is becoming one of the best contest platforms. Whether you’re a blogger, online store, agency, marketing manager or publisher giveaways are a powerful way to engage your community & grow brand reach with consumers. Our aim here at Woorise is to make it easy for you to build powerful and beautiful giveaways for your own business or clients.
1. Create a new Campaign
In your Woorise dashboard click on Campaigns on the left side navigation menu. Next add a template clicking on the Add New button. Once you add a new giveaway you are taken to campaign’s edit page. From this screen you can customize your campaign, Preview changes or maybe save it as Draft and work on it later.
2. Enter a Campaign Title
This is a name that helps identify the campaign. This will appear publicly so please name something recognizable and attractive like “Woorise Giveaway: Win an Apple iPad Pro”.
This name will determine the URL that gets generated for your campaign landing page. You can also edit it to have a different URL from title:
3. Add Content
Next, you can edit the existing content or add new content to your campaign such us images, text, videos and more using blocks. Simple click on the plus icon on the top left corner or the plus icon in the position where you want to add a new block.
You can change the position of blocks, group them or remove them. Each block has their own settings that you can adjust from the right sidebar.
4. Set your Options
In the Options section there are tabs that will allow you to customize your campaign:
Customize tab includes options to set a start and an end date, options to show/hide end date and entries and the Viral Share option.
In the Design tab you can set a main and background colors. You can also set an image as background.
- Image: This image will appear when someone shares the campaign on social media.
- Title: You can set a different title to be used when the campaign is shared. If left empty the campaign’s title will be used.
- Description: Set the description that will be used when sharing the campaign on Facebook or other social media.
- URL: If the campaign is embedded in your website or blog you can add the URL of the embedded page. Leave it empty if you chose to embed the campaign as a Facebook tab.
Official Rules are optional but highly recommended. You have two options to add Official Rules. One is to host the Official Rules inside the campaign and the other is to host them on an external URL.
This content will appear when the giveaway ends (when the expiration date passes). Here is the perfect place to add the winners, a call to action, social media etc.
5. Embed your Campaign
Keep the campaign on Woorise landing page – No extra steps needed. Simple start sharing the campaign’s URL.
If your site running on WordPress is recommended to install the Woorise plugin.
Blog or Website
Copy and paste the code into your website or blog.
Click on the button to Login with Facebook and select the Facebook page where you wish to install the campaign.
